He has to weigh his loyalty to the team and city he loves, versus the opportunity to compete for a championship at the peak of his career. Ultimately, it's a personal decision and the choice is up to him. What's important is that Lillard is able to look back on his career with no regrets and know that he gave it his all in pursuit of his ultimate goal.
