Brawl Breaks Out in Orlando Magic vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Game

The NBA was rocked by a wild altercation between the Orlando Magic and Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night. Five players were ejected from the game following the brawl, which started in front of the Orlando bench late in the third quarter. The initial players involved were Minnesota guard Austin Rivers and Magic center Mo Bamba, but the melee soon included several other players on the court. Replays of the incident showed Rivers standing right in front of the Magic bench as play was ongoing at the far end of the court. Bamba came off the bench and was seen exchanging punches with Rivers. The situation quickly escalated as Jaden McDaniels and Taurean Prince of the Timberwolves joined the fracas, while Jalen Suggs pulled Rivers away and swung him to the court. He attended Martin Luther King High School in Riverside, California, where he was a standout basketball player. Leonard then played college basketball at San Diego State University, where he was named the Mountain West Conference Player of the Year in 2011. After two seasons at San Diego State, Leonard declared for the 2011 NBA Draft and was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 15th overall pick.
